At Upward Bound Camp, we create an inclusive and uplifting environment where individuals with diverse abilities can embark on unforgettable adventures.

Upward Bound Camp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving people with special needs ages 12 and up with diverse abilities. Please consider blessing UBC with a tax-deductible donation today! Your gift will greatly impact the lives of our campers! Our goal is to rebuild the Program Building/Clubhouse which was lost in the 2020 Beachie Creek Wildfire and restore the Historic Gates School House.

  • We accept in-kind donations of supplies, equipment and services that we can use in our programs. In addition, we have an annual special event in October with silent and live auctions, so we are always looking for donations that can be used as auction and raffle items. please contact our office to coordinate delivery and ensure we are able to accept your offering.   • Every October we host our annual fundraiser dinner and auction event and seek generous people like yourself, organizations, and businesses to sponsor our event. You will receive public recognition on our website with your name and or logo, and a shout out at the event for your kindness in charity. Your sponsorship also includes dinner reservations for the event if you choose to attend. Contact our Executive Director, Diane Turnbull, for more information.

  • Donations will be used towards the rebuild of our camp campus which was lost in the 2020 Beachie Creek Wildfires. Donations are also used for the renovation of the over 100-year-old Historic Gates Schoolhouse which currently serves as our camp base of operations and activities space.

    You may request that donations be applied to any specific area or for use in general supplies and support of operations.

  • Yes, donations are tax deductible. We will send you a receipt for your tax purposes by the end of January.

  • Every gift in kind will go towards making a difference in the lives of the campers we serve at Upward Bound Camp. Whether that is in the rebuilding of camp buildings, maintenance of current structures, activity supplies, camp scholarships and much more!

  • Absolutely! However please contact us to make sure we can accept items and services you would like to donate. Until our campus is rebuilt, our storage space is limited.
