Ways to be part of the fun!
Donors
Contributions help this ministry to
continue to grow and serve. Gifts of every type and size are important
and appreciated. All are used to make a difference in the lives of
those who spend time at camp. Contributions may be in the form of
prayer support, volunteered time, skills or talents, money, in-kind,
bequests, or membership. Contributions to help offset the cost of
providing food, supplies, camp activities and fulfilling Christmas
camper wish list are needed and greatly appreciated. Campers receive
Christmas presents as contributions make it possible. Volunteers to
assist in preparing craft projects, leading activities, singing songs,
cooking and serving make the time a blessing for both giver and
receiver.
Membership
One way to demonstrate support of the
camp and allow a personal voice in the policy and practices of Upward
Bound is to purchase a membership. A small annual fee of $15 provides
campers information about camp sessions, special notification of camp
events, T-Shirt, newsletter and early registration and voting
privileges.
Board Membership secures the success
of camp, helping to monitor and develop policy and procedure to protect
the integrity and quality of Upward Bound Camping. Those interested in
an active role should contact the camp office.
Internships
Internships and college credit
programs as well as job search assistance following camp are available.
Resumes and camp applications are accepted year round. Those interested
in summer positions should apply by May 1st.

Year round opportunities for care are
the most direct way to impact the lives of campers, their families and
caregivers. Becoming a friend to campers with mental and physical
challenges, and sharing the recreational opportunities of camp life is
one of the best ways to share the Gospel, learn servantship, and
minister to Jesus.
Experience the joy of servant leadership as a: Camp Counselor, CNA,
CMA, EMT, Nurse, Lifeguard, Support Staff, Office Assistant, Cook,
Kitchen Helper, or Volunteer...
Training is available for committed persons with focus on skill
building and team development. College credit, internships, and
assistance with after camp employment are available for staff.

Prayer is essential to UBC's ministry.
Prayer strengthens service teams and provides the insight of Christ's
mind as the challenge of serving others is presented. Prayer assures
the meeting of individual needs of campers, families, staff and
community. Prayer releases the resources needed to make camp happen.
